COVID-19 ANNOUNCEMENT

Due to COVID-19 pandemic Elite Mobile Dental has restricted dental treatments to Emergency procedures until April 19th. We re-evaluate and update our position in accordance to local, state authorities, ADA, dental board of California, CMS and CDC guidlines. We are committed to monitor and follow DHS's provided guidance to improve infection control and prevention practices to prevent the transmission of COVID-19.  

  • All FIELD STAFF MUST BE TESTED TWICE OR MORE EVERY WEEK.
  • ALL DENTISTS, DENTAL ASSISTANTS, AND XRAY TECHNICIAN MUST PRACTICE STRICT HANDWASHING/USE OF HAND SANITIZER BEFORE AND AFTER PATIENT CONTACT.
  •  STRICT USE OF PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT DURING VISITS/ON PREMISES IS MANDATED.
  •  ALL EMPLOYEES MUST RIGOROUSLY DISINFECT HARD SURFACES (EQUIPMENTS/CARTS/VEHICLE INTERIORS...) AS FREQUENT AS POSSIBLE. 
  • TO REDUCE RISK OF EXPOSURE, DAILY FACILITY VISITS ARE MINIMIZED 
  • All FIELD EMPLOYEES MUST ROUTINELY SCREEN SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS OF RESPIRATORY INFECTION SUCH AS FEVER, COUGH, SHORTNESS OF BREATH, SORE THROAT, CHILLS, HEADACHE, MUSCLE PAIN AND LOSS OF TASTE.
  • STAFF WHO HAVE SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS OF RESPIRATORY INFECTION SHOULD SELF ISOLATE AND BE TESTED. 

 

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

 

Q. Is there any cost to facilities for screening, evaluation and treatments? 

A. Exams and assessments are provided for all residents with or without dental coverage.

     Many dental procedures are covered by most dental insurances including Medi-cal. However,

     If a resident request Implants or cosmetic procedures, financial arrangements should be  

     made. Please note Medicare does not cover any dental procedures.  


Q. How far in advance do you need to schedule a visit?

A. In case of emergency our on-call dentist will evaluate the resident within 24 hours.  

    Non-emergency visits are arranged between 2-7 days depending on our routes 

    and schedule. We confirm our date of visits with social services and/or families through their 

    preferred route of communication. 


Q. How often do we schedule a visit?

A. We generally visit facilities once a month but some facilities prefer to have visits as needed 

     and/or per patient request. 


Q. How long does it take to get treatment authorization?

A. Depending on treatment,  TAR approval take 2-6 weeks. Emergency treatments DO NOT 

     require authorization.    


Q. Will residents be followed up at home in case he/she gets discharged?

A. If treatments has started before the date of discharge, as courtesy we will follow-up

     with the patient at home for treatment completion and to maintain continuity of care. 


Q. Do we have a mobile dental Van?

A. We have portable/bed side equipment such as portable digital x-ray and portable operatory.


Q. Can resident make payment for private treatments?

A. Yes we offer affordable and competitive prices on dentures to residents. We also provide 

     payment plan on fixed prosthetic (crown, bridges and implants).    

     

Q. Do we have in-house dental lab?

A. Yes, our own dental lab allows faster fabrication and delivery of fixed and removable

   prosthetic (dentures), a benefit that many competitor are not able to offer.  


Q. Do we offer dentures engraving? 

A.  Yes, we engrave resident's name on all dentures at no additional cost during 

     fabrication process. 


Q. If a resident does not have dental coverage,  will he/she be screened annually? 

A. Yes, residents without dental coverage receive free of charge dental evaluation.


Q. Can a resident without dental coverage receive dental treatments such 

     as extractions, fillings or removal prosthetic?

A. To be determined by the dentist, if deemed beneficial for the patient, we will 

    do the best in our ability or refer the patient to non profit organizations.
